On New Year's Eve, December 31st, Søndervig Beach will become the center of Denmark's largest winter swimming festival, when up to a few thousand brave souls jump into the icy North Sea. The winter swimming festival was created under the auspices of Holmsland Klit Tourist Association and is held in collaboration with Søndervig Centerforening.
